IIC Lakshya ACCA Course
Prepare for the globally recognized accounting qualification
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) announced the results of the CSEET November 2025 session today, November 20, 2025, before 2:00 PM. The CSEET Nov 2025 exam was conducted in remote proctored mode. However, due to technical issues, an additional test was held on November 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM for candidates who could not appear on the original exam day. Candidates who appeared in either of these sessions can now download their results from the official website, icsi.edu, using their application number and date of birth. The CSEET scorecard 2025 includes details such as the candidate’s name, qualifying status, subject-wise breakup of marks, and overall marks obtained. ICSI currently conducts the CSEET exam four times a year - January, May, July, and November. However, ICSI has announced that from the June 2026 session onwards, the CSEET will be held three times a year, in February, June, and October, under a new revised exam pattern. Candidates planning to pursue the Company Secretary course, must keep in mind the dates before starting their preparation.
CSEET 2025 exam has four papers: Business Communication (50 marks), Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), Economic & Business Environment (50 marks) and Current Affairs, Presentation and Communication Skills (30 marks). Candidates who qualify the CSEET Nov 2025 are eligible to register for the CS Executive Programme. From June 2026 onwards, CSEET will be conducted offline as a centre-based pen-and-paper exam over four days, with each subject being tested on separate days. Each paper will have a maximum of 100 marks: Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, Economic and Business Environment (all subjective, 3 hours each), and Business Laws and Management (OMR-based, 2 hours, with 60 marks for Business Laws and 40 for Business Management). Importantly, there will be no negative marking in the OMR-based paper.
CSEET is an entrance exam conducted by ICSI, four times a year: January, May, July, and November. As per the CSEET eligibility criteria, to take the CSEET 2025 exam, the candidate needs to have passed the 10+2 exam. The CSEET has replaced the CS Foundation course; candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible for direct admission to the CS Executive course which is the second stage of the CS programme.
To qualify (pass) CSEET 2025, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in aggregate. Such candidates who pass the CSEET 2025 exam are eligible for registration to the CS Executive Programme. The CS executive programme is administered through correspondence/distance learning mode and is of 9 months duration. The option of attending classroom teaching facilities organized by the Institute will be available in select locations only, for which candidates will have to pay an additional fee.
